I live with my boyfriend and our two pet babies My boyfriend and I went to high school together, but never actually spoke until almost ten years later when he responded to a story I posted from a DMX concert. You know it’s true love when he slides into those DMs! ;) He’s a stand-up comedian and I had actually been a fan of his for a while. He invited me to one of his shows...and now we live together.
We have a big, goofy cat named Darryl Strawberry He is a glutton for attention and wakes us up meowing and purring every morning. He runs sprints around the apartment every night around 10pm, and spends most days napping on the couch.
We also have an adorable, friendly axolotl named SimmonsHe’s named after DMX’s real name, Earl Simmons. (We had an axolotl named Earl, too, but he didn’t make it). Simmons will swim right over to greet you if you go near his tank. He loves swimming and taking naps inside of his fake pineapple.
I love to travel I want to go everywhere and still have so many places left to see, but if I had to pick a favorite so far, it’d be Egypt or Israel (not counting Spain of course).
Favorites
Season : Fall! I especially appreciate it after five years in Spain, living in a city with only two seasons. I'm pumped to be back in New England for fall!
Song : The Freshmen - Verve Pipe has been my favorite since it came out in ‘96.
Food : People always laugh at me when I say this, but it’s sweet potato. They’re expecting me to say a whole meal, but I really just love sweet potato. If I have to choose a “real meal” I’d say pizza (with dairy-free cheese) or some sugary kids breakfast cereal.
Hablo español I studied to be a high school Spanish teacher. After graduating college I realized my Spanish wasn’t very good (even after majoring in it!), so I moved to Spain for five years and taught English. I had lots of free time and began getting more into photography, second shooting some weddings. I went to a photography meetup in Barcelona and got myself a job in the Canary Islands working for an award-winning international wedding photographer. I spent a year there learning a more European style of shooting before moving back home in 2018.
I’m learning to play the guitar I’m still a beginner but yeah, here’s me serenading a man on the streets of Havana, Cuba :D

Color: Pink!
Music : Brand New is my favorite band. I like most everything, especially if I can dance or sing along to it! Not a huge fan of house/electronic music, although to be fair I catch myself saying “what’s this crap kids are listening to?” so I’m probably just old.
Shows : There’s honestly too much TV for me to pick a favorite. Dexter’s up there, Seinfeld is too… I just finished the Sopranos, and you know what? I loved the ending.
Podcasts: I’m a big podcast fan! The Aubrey Marcus podcast is one of my faves. I’m always looking for new ones, let me know if you have any recommendations!
