your wedding photographer

Thanks for being here! I put my heart & soul into my wedding photography business & it means so much to me that you appreciate my work.

I began shooting film when I was 16, and shot my first wedding when I was only 19 years old. It wasn’t until 2015 when I was living in Spain that I really got into weddings though. I worked with many incredible photographers during my time there and landed myself a job with an international award-winning photographer based in the Canary Islands. I spent 5 years in Spain before settling back home in Boston, where my business is now based.

I live in chelmsford with my husband

We went to high school together, but never actually spoke until almost ten years later when he responded to an Instagram story I posted from a DMX concert.   You know it’s true love when he slides into those DMs ;)  He’s a stand-up comedian and I had actually been a fan of his for a while.  He invited me to one of his shows...and now we own a house together in Chelsmford and got married in August 2022.

We have a big, goofy cat named Darryl Strawberry 

He is a glutton for attention and wakes us up climbing all over us and purring every morning.  He runs sprints around the house every night around 10pm, and spends most days napping on the couch.

We also have an adorable, friendly axolotl named Simmons 

He’s named after DMX’s real name, Earl Simmons.  (We had an axolotl named Earl, too, but he didn’t make it).  Simmons will swim right over to greet you if you go near his tank.  He loves swimming and taking naps inside of his fake pineapple.

I actually studied to be a high school Spanish teacher. After graduating college I realized my Spanish still wasn’t very good, so I moved to Spain for five years and taught English. I had lots of free time and began getting into photography. I got super into it and decided to skip a couple days of work to attend a photography meetup in Barcelona. While there networking, I landed myself a job working for an award-winning international wedding photographer in the Canary Islands. I packed my bags and moved from mainland Spain to Las Palmas for a year. My photography style definitely has a European influence from all the amazing photographers I worked with.

I travel a lot

I’ve been to about 25 countries. I want to go everywhere and still have so many places left to see, but if I had to pick a favorite so far, it’d be Egypt or Israel (not counting Spain of course).

I play the guitar

I’m still a beginner but yeah, here’s me serenading a man on the streets of Havana, Cuba :D

Favorites

Season : Fall! And after five years in a city where fall doesn’t exist, I'm pumped to be back in New England for fall!

Song : The Freshmen - Verve Pipe has been my favorite since it came out in ‘96.

Music : Brand New is my favorite band. I listen to mostly everything, not a huge fan of house/electronic music though and I’m definitely old enough that I find myself asking “What is this crap these kids are listening to nowadays?”

TV Show : There’s too many TV series these days so I don’t really have a favorite. I’m pretty obsessed with Dexter and I recently finished watching all of Seinfeld - what a classic.
